Security threats to businesses are to be put under the spotlight at a free event for Herefordshire companies on July 14.
With data breaches and cyber-attacks against firms on the rise, experts from Cyber Quarter, Midlands Centre for Cyber Security, will be sharing critical advice on putting protections in place.
Certified information privacy expert, Helen Davenport, will lead proceedings at the event which starts at 8.30am.
Attendees can expect insight into the key considerations of both domestic and international data breach strategy.
The breakfast briefing will also provide guidance on important e-commerce and data protection issues such as online T&Cs, and the ICO’s new draft Direct Marketing Code of Practice.
Helen Davenport has 20 years of tech sector experience, accumulating vast experience of data privacy and cyber security. She is currently a member of the International Technology Law Association, the Society for Computers and Law and IAPP.
